Common questions

  • Is participation free?

Yes, completely free. Many studies also provide compensation for your time, and all families receive small gifts or developmental insights.

  • How much time does it take?

Most studies take 30–90 minutes. We work around your schedule, including evenings and weekends.

  • Where do studies take place?

Most happen in your home or online via video call. A few studies are conducted at our Columbia University lab, but we come to you whenever possible.

  • What if my family speaks another language?

We welcome multilingual families! Our research materials and team members support multiple languages including Spanish, Mandarin, and others.
